I Got Reviewed by CRA: The Checklist I Use to Kill the Anxiety and Get Through It

Getting a CRA review letter can spike your stress fast. I know the feeling, and in today’s episode I walk through the exact steps I use to stay calm, get organized, and respond properly when CRA comes knocking.

This is my anxiety-reduction checklist:

1) Review your financials and compare them to prior years
2) Pull receipts for major items so you can support the numbers quickly
3) Read the review request carefully, then respond with what they asked for (no extra noise)
4) Speak with CRA if needed and confirm what they still need
5) Follow up until you have closure in writing
6) Do what CRA wants, then stay on top of it so it doesn’t snowball later

If you’re a business owner and you want a clear, calm process for handling CRA reviews without spiraling, this episode will help.
