The Founder Marketing Workshop: The Questions That Clarified Taxifi (Build in Public)

If you’re starting a business, you need to get clear on the story, the customer, and the promise. This episode is me doing that in real time for Taxifi.

I walk through the exact framework and questions I’m using to sharpen the brand and the marketing, and I think every founder should do the same:

Podcast of NEW Marketing - Plan…

-Vision and brand essence: why this exists, what problem I’m solving, and what people should say after using it
-Audience: who we’re building for first (creators and sole proprietors), and what actually stresses them out about taxes
-Category and competition: what people love, what they hate, and what we can say that others can’t
-Value prop: the result users want and the simplest promise that lands
-Voice: how Taxifi should sound, and how it should make people feel

A few key takeaways from the exercise:
Taxifi needs to feel solid, caring, and non judgmental. People do not just need software, they need a safe place to start. And the promise has to be simple: one click, judgment free tax filing so you never think about taxes again.
