Then get laid off (I did, from the Ottawa Hospital) and realize it's the best thing that ever happened to you.

The message I care most about is the decade nobody talks about: from 22 to 32, with no kids and no mortgage, I woke up at 5, went to bed at 8, worked six or seven days a week, and built my first company from zero to 45 employees across Canada before selling it inside ten years, just like the plan said. That decade put the rest of my life in a place where I can run multiple businesses, hire people, and dictate my own time with three young boys at home. If you're in your 20s and thinking about starting something: scrap everything and put in the reps now. I can mentor you 20 or 30%. The other 70% has to come from you.
